Many applications use a glycol jacket to transfer the heat out of their mixing batch. Clamp-on or spot welded coils are typically utilized on the tank. Whaley has been providing packaged and modular chillers for jacket cooling applications since 1993. Food mixing, bakery dough cooling, and concrete batch cooling are two processes that frequently use cooling jackets because the processor does not want the glycol to have any chance of coming in contact with their critical batch.    |
